Maria presents the latest horticulture successes in the
mechanics of the new urban vertical green and skyrise garden
developments in Singapore. As an international award winning Landscape Architect, she has held senior executive roles with the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects. Maria Boey is the President of the Institute of Parks and Recreation, Singapore
and was Vice President (Architectural), Surbana International Consultants Pte. Ltd from 2003 to 2016 and is now semi-retired as Senior Executive Landscape Architect in Surbana Jurong Consultants Pte. Ltd.
She is active in Soroptimist International of Singapore and Rotary E-club of Singapore and many other NGOs.
Maria is a well-known speaker on Singapore’s Greenery and has spoken in Singapore, China, Malaysia and Colombia.

This ‘must see’ presentation is for those who value best practice in the new urban greening.

Don Burke TV Presenter and AIH Fellow will lead the panel and audience discussion following Maria’s presentation where she will be joined by Ben Peacock who will present the case for the immensely successful 202020 Vision Project that has taken the urban greening movement by storm. Gavin Rogers from Lawn Solutions Australia also joins the panel and will talk about greening from other perspectives.
